Edy smiled, nodding. She followed him out of the mountain, carefully stepping into the balloon, tripping overthe wicker floor, quickly grabbing the side of the basket. She huffed. Clumsy as always. She looked down at the view, smiling and looked up at him. “Yeah. I look at it every night… I mean! Looked. Sorry. Im being totally bogus.” She couldnt figure out why she was slipping so much right now. It had to be the champagne. She never drank.
Kanoa shrugged, “It’s alright. You’re new to all this. The partying and drinking and stuff.” He shrugged again and opened one of the bottles of champagne, chugging some down before handing the bottle to Edy. He knew something was off with this girl, even the newest pretties never slipped up this much. What what was with the tripping? Totally bogus. But right now Kanoa could feel a buzz coming on from the alcohol and she didn’t care what was up. When Edy’d had her drink Kanoa took the bottle from her hands and set it on the little table next to the others. He grabbed the fabric of the girl’s shirt and pulled her close, a finger under her chin to tilt it up. He smirked, his lips brushing against hers just barely. “I can kiss you, right?” He didn’t wait for an answer before pressing his lips to hers.

@Kanoa such as this? [;
Yes, exactly like that. Very…sexy-making.
Let’s do it then. I’m down
So what’s your name?
Guess I’m going shirtless tonight then…So much for semi-formal.
Edy watched the Pretties rising in the air with awe. She could never get used to their faces. The big eyes, the perfect features. She smiled, resting a hand on the rail, her other still hooked around Kanoa’s arm. She looked up at him with wide, happy eyes as he asked if she would want to go up on one. Really? That would be so co- I mean, totally bubbly!” She blushed at her half slip. It wasnt that pretties never talked like that, but it was bogus t0. She looked down quickly, hiding the blush until it went away before looking up at him, smiling.
A slightly confused expression briefly crossed Kanoa’s face as she misspoke and corrected herself. He figured she just wasn’t used to pretty-speak yet and he shrugged it off. “Lets go then.” He smiled and led her back downstairs and out of the mansion. They walked to the balloons, got into one with some champagne, and took off. He looked at the view below them and smiled. “It reminds me of being an ugly, looking over at the lights here every night.”
Why do girls always think it’s so easy for guys to decide what to wear to a semi?
Maybe I’ll just go like this
You def should. It’s totally happy making.
I’ll only go like that if you do too.

Edy looked around curiously, taking in all the sights. There were so many different costumes. Beautiful angels, disgusting monsters, old historical figures. She couldn’t believe how different the costumes were. A huge grin covered her face. She was loving this. The music. The energy. She swayed happily to the music playing, sipping the rest of her champagne before looking up at the baloons he was poining at. “Wow! No, I haven’t,” she said, looking at him. She had never gotten the guts to try and hop into a balloon with a hot air. It was mainly Twister Parties that she could get away with.
Kanoa watched the balloons in the air, the beautiful faces dancing and drinking and having fun. He hadn’t been on a balloon in a while and with the girl next to him a small smirk danced across his lips. Even with the ugly costume surge she was still cute, and he had an ugly face on as well so it wasn’t as if he was the most attractive person on earth. He wanted to woo this girl, show her a fun time at her first costume party. He elbowed her side lightly and smiled, whispering into her ear, “You want to? Go on a balloon, I mean.”
Edy giggled, hugging his arm carefully as they walked, carying her champagne. “You could say that,” she giggled. A new pretty look? And it was cute? She couldn’t believe how well this trick was working, and she was just a normal Ugly. She had gotten into Twister Parties before, but this took the cake. She stepped into the elevator with him, glad that he could get it to work. Without her interface ring, nothing in this city would listen to her, except for the boy who believed she was a pretty. As they got to the top floor, Ellie looked around, muttering quietly. “Woah…” There were so many pretties in costume. She knew that Pretty Town parties were huge, but not this huge.
Kanoa looked down and smiled at the ugly face clinging to his arm. She was defiantly new, this might even be her first costume party as a pretty. He remembered being at his first costume party, a month after his surge, and seeing people walking around in scary, morphed, monster faces. That was what made him want to be a Twister. He walked her over to the edge of the balcony and pointed at one of the balloons that was just taking off. “Have you ever been in one?”
